		<description>You make some great points Rita.  As I&#039;ve started talking to offices about getting involved with SM, I get a feeling that it&#039;s not making sense as a marketing plan.  Not only is the ongoing maintenance a deterrent, but being genuine and personable is a new concept for a marketing strategy.  Historically, dental marketing ads talk about services offered, or discounts on exams and x-rays.  I don&#039;t think patients care about that.  They want to know about the people in the office.  They want to know what their friends think.  SM is a way to connect with, and stay connected to your patients in a way they are comfortable with.</description>
